Career Development Training Opportunities for Adults
Over your working life, your personal skills development and training need to align with the aims of the business or organisation you work for. We can provide a host of personal career development courses to you as a private individual, or perhaps through your existing employer .
Most of our training courses are delivered onsite or remotely, and we are a well-respected source of courses on business and personal growth, employee reskilling and upskilling.
If you would like to take a recognised and accredited course to increase your skill set, but aren’t sure what the best route of delivery and/or funding would be, please contact us for free advice on 01933 358250 or email us at [email protected].
Here’s a few examples of how training – as an adult – can help improve your outlook and career:
Moving from customer service to online marketing: People-orientated individuals tend to already have effective business communication skills and, providing their writing skills are good enough, often suit online marketing roles. In these cases, social media strategies training, or courses on graphic web design, SEO for business, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and blogging for business may be suitable.
Moving from a member of an admin team to a Personal Assistant: Few people realise that there are plenty of onsite employee PA training courses available for admin-based career development. In smaller organisations, information technology training and social media strategies courses are also included in this type of career development plan, further increasing the value of the role of PA.
Moving from a manual to an office-based role: If you want to move somebody from a manual role to an administration-based role, they might need to complete Microsoft Word, Office (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 available) and Outlook courses.
Returning to work after a career break: If an individual has taken a career break and hasn’t worked in an office environment for a few years, we offer touch typing refresher courses, coupled with Microsoft Word, Excel (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 available) and Outlook training.
